Important update for EU customers: shipping charge changes from 1 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, new EU import rules are expected to introduce an additional €3 customs duty on low-value B2C goods imported into the EU. This duty is expected to apply per separate product line, and is separate from VAT collected through the our shipping providers.

To help cover this new cost and avoid unexpected charges where possible, GPUConnect will be increasing shipping charges to EU destinations by approximately £3 from 1 July 2026.

More information on this can be found here: https://www.royalmail.com/europeantradeinsights

This is a new development affecting merchants shipping goods from outside the EU into the EU. The exact handling of the charge may depend on the courier, postal operator, customs classification, destination country, and how the shipment is processed at import.

We are working to make this change as clear and straightforward as possible for customers. If you experience any issue with an EU import, delivery request, customs charge, or duty-related query, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
