This bespoke GPUCONNECT cable allows a standard motherboard CPU fan header to be connected to various 7-pin Asus GPU fan headers. This allows the graphics card fans to be controlled via motherboard control software to a custom fan curve, bypassing firmware fan control.
The cable is designed to provide synced fan control to all 3 fans simultaneously, with full PWM control from 0 to 100%.
Please note this is not compatible with all 7-Pin GPU fans. Please contact us to confirm if this is suitable for your specific card. We have noted in the compatibility list cards that are known compatible, but this is not an extensive list!
Provided in all black and high quality braiding, the cable length is approx. 15cm including connectors. If you require a longer length we recommend the matching CPU extension cable here (bundle available to purchase on this page).

Why deshroud?
Motherboard fan headers can often be reassigned to monitor GPU temperatures, however will require an often unwanted 3rd party application to be installed to do this. The control of fans by motherboard headers often can cause overheating or other issues due to the software processing required to maintain control, and the fan curve is not directly linked to overclock or under-volt settings which would be required from a secondary application. A deshroud mod will also require 2 fan headers to be used, preventing them from being used elsewhere in the system.
