Screws are either M2, M2.5 or M3 and available in sizes between 3mm and 8mm depending on screw,
Allow +/-0.1mm measurement allowance

Dimensions

Screws are measured with 2 sizes. i.e. M2.5, with the 2.5 representing the diammeter of the screw and thread.

The second part if the length of the screw, head to tip.
